About Maverick Smith Band
Maverick Smith started as a return—now it’s something much bigger.
After a decade away, Sean Boynes reignited the project with With Friends and Imperfections, capturing the raw energy of live rock in the Ohio Valley. Since then, the band has evolved into a full-fledged lineup spanning Pennsylvania, Ohio, and West Virginia—bringing together different influences, styles, and creative voices.
Today, Maverick Smith features Paige Bosic (lead vocals, songwriter), Sean Boynes (rhythm guitar, songwriter), Charlie Kovach (lead guitar, songwriter), Josh Franczyk (drums), and Dan Bozek (bass).
Following their second studio album, the band continues to push forward—blending alternative rock with pop rock and alt-pop energy. Their latest single, “Waste of Time,” marks the next chapter: bigger hooks, sharper production, and the same commitment to making something real.
